Livonia’s 2025 Music From the Heart Concert Series brings free live music to the city all summer long, featuring a lineup of local favorites and crowd-pleasing bands. Concerts are held outdoors, creating a laid-back, family-friendly vibe where you can relax, dance, and enjoy the warm evenings with neighbors and friends. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, and soak up the sounds of summer right in the heart of Livonia.

This years lineup includes:

• July 10 – Black River – A high-energy group from southeast Michigan known for delivering dynamic performances of classic rock, pop, country, and Motown hits that keep audiences on their feet.
• July 17 – Motor City Soul – A Detroit-based ensemble renowned for their powerful, crowd-pleasing shows packed with classic soul, R&B, Motown, and funk favorites.
• July 24 – The Sax Maniacs Soul Revue – A five-piece Detroit-area band known for their high-energy, sax-driven dance music and soulful live performances.
• July 31 – The Shawn Riley Band – A Michigan-based group known for high-energy performances and a blend of musical selections from the 1950s to today, featuring top-level musicians and vocalists
• Aug. 7 – The Blue Top Blues Band – A four-piece group that performs both blues covers and original songs, known for their solid musicianship and energetic shows
• Aug. 14 – Devin Scillian & Arizona Son – A country western band known for performing a mix of traditional country, bluegrass, and southern rock, led by renowned singer and Detroit news anchor Devin Scillian
• Aug. 21 – Joyriders – A five-piece group of talented, well-seasoned musicians from Livonia, Michigan, who love playing energetic rock music for their fans
• Aug. 28 – Vinyl Rockit – A Michigan band known for playing all your favorite rock and dance hits, promising a fun, high-energy show that gets everyone moving
